Coordinating multiple agencies, multiple ground and air units and field personnel can be a daunting task. Using the OMNI-COMM Phase II Radio Simulator provides the on air feeling that takes place in the (PSAP) Public Safety Answering Point.

We have developed an FX library which allows you to import sounds for mixing your calls to the trainee. If your scenario is being played out as a high speed interstate chase you can mix various sirens, yelps and whistles in with the radio transmission engrossing the student in the scenario. Trainees become immersed in the pursuit themselves, when he or she hears the officers' voice in the helicopter and the rotor sounds from air one joining in on the chase the scenario then becomes very real.

Simul-select One of the features that is absolutely necessary for a communications center radio training. How else could you talk to multiple agencies simultaneously? A vehicle accident for instance, you must be able to dispatch EMS, the fire department, police or highway patrol quickly, once on scene responding units may need aircraft to transport injured victims to the hospital. There is only one way you can prepare for a multiple transmission and multiple emergencies that is with the OMNI-COMM Radio Simulators.

30 Channels Allocating channels to various agencies gives the trainee full or partial console control. Every agency is supported by identifying channels; multiple students can be trained by issuing a particular student channel specific channels, i.e. 11-20 or 25-30.

The wonderful advantage of being able to increase of decrease pressure on any student gives the instructor the ability to produce outstanding candidates. No two students learn at the same speed and the instructor can pace selected students.

Instructor Instant Messaging All instructors are connected through text messaging, instructors can alert one another to changes in the student's scenarios.

24 Hour Clock coordinate and verify all calls through the 24 hour clock, audio recording notes time and CAD records times of incident commands in text.

Recording Whether instant transmission replay for call verification or burning all of the students' history for testing, review or archiving, all voice is saved in WAV files.

Pager Simulation Alpha Numeric or text or both can be transmitted with radio transmission or separately.

This is just a brief description and introductory to the possibilities available to you, if choosing the proper equipment is your responsibility there is no other product that can equal the features found on the OMNI-COMM Phase II Simulator.
