The M-2000 Trainer was developed to provide and atmosphere for practicing call taking and dispatching simultaneously. By providing multiple incoming and an outgoing phone line the demands on a trainee can be varied as it would be in a communication center. Calls can be transferred or placed on hold as needed. Once the trainee is proficient with the phone, TWO RADIO CHANNELS are accessible for dispatching and coordinating multiple vehicles with role playing instructors. A cassette recorder is provided to enhance the training session by adding background sounds or for recording the student's responses for evaluation and critiquing responses.

While using our M-2000 Trainer students are taught how to pick up on caller's situations and concentrate on call taking and dispatching without adding too many unnecessary features that can distract the initial learning process.

The M-2000 Trainer is used to help the students learn how to ask critical questions and obtain specific information. Trainers are mid-level fidelity training devices, generally lacking visual systems and used for "procedural" training. A part task trainer is often used for pre employment testing and basic multi-tasking skill development. Trainers are used to prepare trainees for our advanced high fidelity true simulators that include all of the bells and whistles associated with a communication center.
